Storyline: North Face tells the story of two German climbers Toni Kurz and Andreas Hinterstoisser and their attempt to scale the deadly North Face of the Eiger.





Touching the Void, 2003

Storyline: In 1985 two friends, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, set out to climb Siula Grande in Peru via the West Face, a hitherto unaccomplished feat by any climber. After a tough ascent they succeed but on the descent they run into significant problems. Soon they are both in dire danger and the chances of surviving are slim.





Into Thin Air: Death on Everest, 1997

Storyline: It attempts to recreate the disastrous events that took place during the Mount Everest climb on May 10, 1996. It also follows Krakauer and portrays what he was going through while climbing the mountain.





The Dawn Wall, 2017

Storyline: In an unbelievable story of perseverance, free climber Tommy Caldwell and climbing partner Kevin Jorgeson attempt to scale the impossible 3000ft Dawn Wall of El Capitan.





Everest - The Summit of the Gods, 2016

Storyline: Makoto Fukamachi is a Japanese cameraman. On a backstreet of Nepal, he finds an old camera that might possibly solve the mystery of whether George Mallory became the first person to successfully climb Mount Everest on June 8, 1924 or not. Pursuing the old camera's past, Makoto Fukamachi meets legendary alpinist Joji Habu, who is isolated from other people because of his reckless and thoughtless personality.
